I’ve just returned from the most glorious, beautiful place in the world Cancun. I have been looking forward to this trip ever since last year. It was a much needed vacation for our family and it was nice to get away from the rainy, cold weather here in Virginia.

We stayed in Riu Palace Peninsula; an all inclusive resort with tons of food, pastries, drinks and the beaches is just a few steps away. I highly recommended if you are traveling with a large group of people because you don’t have to worry about food.  The service was incredible, the hotel staff is very friendly, and the views are gorgeous.  Plus I get to eat tons of chocolate croissants and have cappuccinos any time I want, that’s always a plus 😉

With only 4 nights, we didn’t get to do everything that we wanted to. We swam with the dolphin, zip lining through the jungle and explored the area a little bit. If you have a little one, I highly recommended the dolphin show, it was such a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back.

There are 4 main restaurants in this resort consisted of Italian, Japanese, 2 Mexican restaurants and an international buffet. We love the international buffet because it has varieties of food for you to choose from. Also the breakfast buffet in the morning is a must-try, and all you can drink mimosas, you can’t go wrong with that.

Over all it was a great experience but it was too short! And I can’t wait to plan our next Cancun trip!

Hope you are having a great Spring break! Summer is almost here
