Mango Papaya Green Tea pops –fruity, creamy and heavenly delicious popsicles. This summer treat has been here waiting for you. Yummy and refreshing!
We’ve been having way too much fun this summer!! Grilling out, pool parties, ice cold drinks and it is just getting started. We got refreshing drinks, grilled pork skewers and easy salads. But the party’s not complete without some fruity, tropical, exotic pops.
Put your hands together for the one and only “mango-papaya green-tea popsicles”. They’re tropical, they’re exotic, they’re ridiculously easy to make, and they’re pool-side approved.
I’ve been a huge fan of mango and papaya. Plus they’re in season now so it’s a great way to stock them up on smoothies, cold drinks and definitely popsicles. I combine these pops with a little bit of matcha green tea powder and they’re delicious. Plus green tea powder is full of amazing benefits: anti-toxicants, rich in fibers and vitamins.
When you’re exhausted from out and about in the sun, this is the perfect summer treats to cool off. You’ll love it because they’re fruity, they’re creamy, they’re healthy and they’re blissfully delicious.
Soak up that sun as much as you can!! And be sure to cool off with these summer exotic pops.
Enjoy your July 4th weekend!
Mango Papaya Green Tea Popsicles
Cool of the summer heat with this 5 ingredients summer treats: mango, papaya, green-tea, coconut milk and sugar. Yummy and refreshing!
For the Green Tea Layer:
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp green tea powder
For the Mango Papaya Layer:
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 papaya
- 1 tbsp sugar
For the green tea layer :
Whisk together green tea powder, sugar and coconut milk. Pour mixture to the blender and blend until smooth.
Divide evenly between popsicles mold. I made some pops with two layers and some with only 1 layer of green tea.
Place in the freezer for 5 minutes so the layer can set while you prepare the other layer.
For the mango papaya layer:
Place mango, papaya, coconut milk, sugar in the blender and blend until smooth.
Pour some over green tea layer. Add the remaining mixture into the rest of the mold. Gently tap down the mold to remove air bubbles.
Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for 3 to 4 hours or until completely set.
To remove popsicles, run the bottom of the mold over warm water for a minute. Remove from the mold and enjoy. Or store extra in zip lock snack bags for later use.
