I don’t know about you guys but as the weather getting a little cooler, I get lazy preparing meals for the week.

Good thing I have my crockpot to save me time so I can be cozy up in blankets watching TV.

This bbq pulled chicken is crazy easy to make and ridiculously tasty so you can have more time cuddling up with your loved ones.

There are only 3 steps to a ready to serve meal:

  1. Place sauce in the slow cooker
  2. Add chicken
  3. Set it and forget

Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Chicken

Juicy, Moist, Tendered Pulled chicken, covered in a tangy and sweet barbecue sauce. Simple yet satisfying. 

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours
Total Time 4 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 1/4 cup barbecue sauce I love Sweet baby Ray
  • 1/2 medium onion (diced)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Place sauce, honey, oil, garlic powder and onion in a slow cooker.Place chicken thighs, turn to coat with sauce.

  2. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Chicken is done when you can easily shredded with two forks. 

  3. Transfer chicken to a plate and shredded with two forks. Place shredded chicken back to the crock pot to coat with sauce.  Cook in sauce for another 5 minutes. 

  4. Serve on rolls, tortillas, tacos or salads.
