Nothing will please your guests like a plateful of spicy, crispy, crunchy Asian wings. To achieve a perfectly crispy wings, we use a special agent called “baking powder”. We bake them in the oven till perfection, and then toss well with our home-made spicy Asian sauce. Tons of spicy flavors: sweet, spicy, and juicy. The results are spicy, tendered, luscious wings that everyone will want to come back for more.

Spicy Asian Wings
For the wings:
- 6 chicken wings
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
For the spicy sauce:
- 2 cloves garlic
- a thumb size ginger root
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon mirin
- 1/2 tablespoon sriracha
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili pepper flakes
- 1/2 tablespoon gojujang
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
- chopped cilantro
- sesame seeds
- crushed peanuts
Wings: Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss the wings with salt, pepper and baking powder. Coat them evenly. Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, turning half way until golden brown.
Sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If the sauce seems a little thick, add a bit of water, about 1 to 2 tablespoons. Transfer sauce to a medium skillet over medium low heat and simmer until sauce thickens, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Transfer chicken wings into sauce, toss evenly to coat. Reheat the skillet over high heat until sauce are well absobed, about 1 minute. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onion, cilantro and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
