Hey hey. It’s finally Spring, I can smell it and even taste it. Weather hasn’t been great but I definitely love the daylight saving time. With sunlight later in the evening, I have more energy to get things done after work. Speak of the devil, work has been insanely busy but I am loving every minute of it.

How has your spring break been? Did you get a chance to start your spring cleaning? Did you start a new project? Whatever you have in store, be sure to get away from your desk and enjoy some sunshine and some coffee break.

Today’s post is totally a weird one. I guess I’ve never really shared much of my personal space in this little blog of mine. I thought it would be nice to get away from the food and chat for a bit.

I’ll be another year older in just a few days. I used to dislike getting older. Like everyone, I was in a hurry to grow up, make money and gain freedom. Now that I’m older and with responsibilities, I look forward to a time where there’s no responsibilities! It’s now forbidden to mention age on birthday celebrations unless it’s a milestone. So if you’re ever feel like old ages is creeping up on you and not fun, don’t be! Like they say age is just a number, you’re always young at heart if you believe it. ☺

As I become older, there is one important thing that I definitely wish for:  my family and friends’ health. Material things become less important. Time with family and friends becomes a treasure.

There are benefits to becoming older: no longer getting carded, life experiences make you wiser, and you can eat cookies for dinner if you feel like it! Hopefully you have learned enough life lessons to afford or choose a life that is less stressful, more freedom, and carefree.

Cheers to a year older but wiser us.  Let’s celebrate with cakes, desserts, and whatever you want to eat. We can always exercise tomorrow right?
